Should Elderly steal the Youth’s Job Opportunities?


The notion the older workers are taking younger generations jobs has been a topic of debate for many years now. Considering the ethical perspective of Utilitarianism we must also discuss the organizations and companies in which these jobs reside. Utilitarianism is a predominate concept within ethics and is well aligned with economics and the free-market outlook(Coleman,2014). Often this theory rely s on the rule or principal that if followed regularly, will create the greatest good for all individuals involved.

As policies, laws and regulations help provide a ethical guideline to abide by, companies that employee Americans employ a form of utility reasoning by considering different plans presented by leaders within the company.
