The Noise of Insomnia

I somehow hear, randomly the sound of footsteps heading from the kitchen into living room echoing in the dark early morning light. This was no strange occurance as the night seemed to have a constant hummm.  More of a static buzz that seems to surround people and objects in the room , bouncing frequencies into the air and into my ear drum.

Frequency in the air

Sound pierced through the air often at speeds that seemed to swirl around me.  The swirling energy seemed to force gusts of wind into my eye sockets causing pressure.

But in reality I am sitting inside the house with these invisible  sensations surrounding me.

Auditory Hallucinations from sleep deprivation causes my senses to be on over-drive. So for me the noise of insomnia is just the first stage I go through in my struggles with insomnia.

I continue on through the night counting the hours as I reach the 36 hour mark with the inability to relax or shut off my brain.  Overloaded with creativity I try and write, draw or create something to ease my unsettled mind.
