The lights are out as the clock strikes two,

I hit the bed, as it’s time to sleep through.

Outside the window, the darkness creeps.

The night appearing black and infinitely deep.

The moon emanating a fading silver gradient,

The stars shining together looking quite radiant.

Their brilliant light in contrast to the dark screen,

So is my whirring mind in this calm scene.

My mind revving up with thoughts.

Vague and random not having a plot.

Keeping me wide awake creating a fuss,

Coz entire life’s happening is a big syllabus.

The thought of times that formed sweet memories,

Of the moments that reverberate the melodies.

Of the times, that builds up the nostalgia.

Of the moments that were frozen by the camera.

I Regret for the minds voice that never reached the lips,

For the opportunities that slipped off the fingertips.
